Tate Library broadly covers those areas in which Tate collects, namely British art from the Renaissance to the present day and international modern art. Tate Archive is the Archive of British Art since 1900. The Gallery's official records are also housed here. The Library catalogue and Archive catalogue are available to search online. Registration is required but is free. Advanced appointments are required to access Tate Archive, Library Special Collection items and the Gallery's official records.
