The Mushroom Works is fast establishing itself as the most eclectic, interesting collection of artists, designers and makers in the North East.

Mushroom Works is home to a diverse range of creative businesses, including painters, illustrators jewellery makers, animators and furniture designer/makers as well as gallery.

The gallery offers a vibrant programme of exhibitions and special events and is part of Own Art, an interest free loan scheme which makes it easy and affordable to but contemporary art, craft and design.
